  CR for final project 1. How do your products represent social groups or issues? The products that I have created to represent different social groups and issues were the short film, a website, and a postcard. The short film is about two girls getting followed by a guy. They ran into him at a convenient store and he started asking many questions. He then follows them to the house and the party they go to later that day. He ends up killing both of them at the party. The other product would be the website. The website includes information and the latest updates of the film. It also includes the social media platforms made for the short film. The postcard includes where and when the film will be shown and includes the social media usernames. All of these products represent social groups because they are for those interested in thrillers and suspenseful films. The products are also for all age groups and ethnicities. Short film package

We finally finished! Our film is done and its ready to be watched by many. My group and I are very grateful to be apart of this process. Transferring from AS level to A level has been a fun journey and Im glad I had the opportunity. Production blog (Reflecting and revising film)

  Were almost done! All we have to do now is reflect and revise our film. After filming and editing our film, we had to reflect on it. We had to make a few fixes. My group and I rewatched our film a few times. It was a minute short so we had to do some changes. We added videos and dragged out more scenes to fix this. This took us a while to do. We had to make sure this didn't affect our film by making it more choppy. We had to use a editing software on my laptop. I edited the clips to make it less choppy. We forgot to add the credits to the beginning. So, this is something I had to do. I went back and used iMovie to add it. This was a easy fix, but it was time consuming. We all rewatched it again to see if it was good enough. I still felt like we were missing something. We needed it to be more suspense and surprising for the audience. I did this by adding more nondiegetic sounds and suspenseful sounds to the film. This made it feel more like a horror/thriller film. Just what we wan

Film sets tend to be full of potential hazards, whether the sets are created by big-budget production companies or smaller groups. No matter the size of the crew you have or the number of locations you’ll be in, health and safety should be incorporated into production even before cameras begin rolling. From conducting a risk assessment to handling weather conditions, there are a few film production safety tips that every crew should follow to ensure a successful shoot. It goes without saying that preparation is the key to success in any aspect of filmmaking. Therefore, it shouldn’t be any different when it comes to film set safety. This is why during our film, we made sure to be safe. We used masks around other people and off camera. We made sure to be distance from people walking by when we were filming. Production blog (Postal card)

 Hi again, this step in our process of this project was pretty easy. We needed to make an advertising post card of our film. This post card had a front and back. We needed to make it look appealing so people would want to come watch our film. I did this by adding a dark and mysterious pictures. I used a red font on the front of the post card. I also used the words "Coming soon" under the title to show that the film hasn't been out yet but its going to be. On the back of the post card I put more information. I put the showtime dates and what time its airing.  I chose three dates. I also provided the social media platform names. For YouTube, Instagram, twitter, and Facebook I used the same username. The username for each of these social medias were called @Officalconviencestoremovie. This was easier because I could just copy and paste it. Production blog (Permission)

 Before we could publish our film we had to make sure it was okay with the people in it. We also had to make sure it was okay with the places we filmed at. The store we filmed at was a corner store by Evas house. So we asked for their permission to film and they said yes. It was easy to get their approval because Eva used to work there. We had them  give us their signature. Throughout our film, we had to be careful getting random people in our film. We had to reshoot the scenes when people would get in it that we don't have the approval. For the party scene we have to get people to be it. About 10 to 15 people was the range. We got their permission to film them. We used our friends for this so it was easy to convince them. We also made sure it was okay with the people in Evas apartment because we filmed the party scene there. Other permissions we had to get were for the music. Production blog (Website)

The next step for a filming project was making a website! This was interesting to make because Ive never made a website before. But this also meant it was a bit harder. I had a lot of complications at first. This took me about two days to do. I used the website called wix.com to make it. When I first started it didn't let me pick a design format for the website. It would keep continuing to reload. This took a day to finally load. Once it loaded I started to pick which website outline I wanted. I picked the one where you publish blogs. So for every piece of information that we had to give was in different places. We needed to create social medias which is talked about in the other blogs. The links to these were at the bottom of our website. I Added a picture of a connivence store at the front of our website. Also with the title of our short film.
